I found this new UI on RFC. Get it here I have put it in one of my installs but I think I'm going to use it on all of them. Kind of makes you think you have a new game and has some great features. Make sure you read the install text b4 installing. Here are a few screen shots to get the mouth watering. download here

To get this to work with FVRV8 1.7 you need to do a manual install. Find your manual install files......right click on your xUI install shortcut on your desktop - click properties - click find target - and look in the source folder.

Go into the FVR rfactor install and rFactor/UIData/fvrv8 and find the FVRUI.osc file and rename it to FVRUI.old............now copy and paste all the files from the source folder and rename UI.osc file to FVRUI.osc

Your done......start up rFactor and enjoy

To get the latest XUI 1.8 to work after installing the latest FVR Mod.
1) You need to have XUI 1.5 installed first
2) Backup your old UIData folder before making changes
3) follow the manual UI install proceedure on the readme file included with 1.8.

This is a copy of the section that worked for me out of the readme file.
UI INSTALLATION if you already have the v1.50 with auto installer

Copy all files from v1.80 located in ...UIData\ (Do not include the UISounds folder)
to ...rFactor\UIData\xUI\Source\

Copy v1.80 sound files from ...UIData\UISounds
to ...rFactor\UIData\UISounds

Some Mods also have their own UISound folder, in order to have menu sounds you'll need to copy
v1.70 sound files from ...UIData\UISounds\
to ...rFactor\UIData\"MOD"UIData\"MOD"UISounds\

Cheers B)
