Welcome to xfactors first series for 2018

There's no better way to kick off this year then with xfactors Aussie Legends.

3 x 15 minute races per round, races 2 & 3 with reverse grids.

All content should download from the server, each round.

EDIT:

So the format for this series is that it will be split into two classes.
Class 1 will be the Torana, Camaro & the XC & XB Falcons.
Class 2 will be the Charger, Monaro, and the XY & XA Falcons.
So for the series to work correctly it will be a almost even spread of classes.
Adelaide = Class 1
Barbagallo = Class 2
Calder Park = Class 1
Morgan Park = Class 2
Oran Park = Class 1
Hidden Valley = Class 2
Bathurst = Class 1

You can drive any car in that class, you can swap it if you want or stick with it, your choice.
Seen you ontrack.

Hi SS
When will the server be up for this series?

I would have probably stolen cars - it would have given me the same adrenaline rush as racing.

Great night and great bunch of blokes racing together. I had a cracker of a night with some very close racing, like I think Seca passing me on the outside between turns 4&5!!!! Hows the one where Nib got it all crossed up and me behind him trying to avoid taking him out and two or three Toranas passing us on both sides!!!! And thx Nib for letting me pass to chase them.
The third race was just as eventfull, my car was smahed on all sides, could hardly turn trying to chase down a couple Toranas, wow

I would have probably stolen cars - it would have given me the same adrenaline rush as racing.

Wow round number two and yet another great turnout. Must feel great to see so many blokes showing up showing their appreciation for your hard work. Well done xfactorracing admin, a bloody awesome mod. Nib might have to up the server performance and capacity going by this trend of attendance.

I had an awesome night, my qualifying was a bit offish as I got distracted by the ts activity and soooo many cars on track, man it was hard to put a decent lap in, awsome!!!!! But I had good pace, a solid car to race with so quali was a minor.

The second race killed me, just could not get past I think Seca who was following Robzee, then followed the two onto the straight south of the big curb and my car flicked me off track!! Man could have done with those points I thought was in my pocket.

Any hows, great great racing guys and onto the next track

I would have probably stolen cars - it would have given me the same adrenaline rush as racing.

An interesting round at Calder last night. I have to say that the driving standard was very poor at times.
The circuit doesn't lend itself to 3car wide action & people were trying to get from the back to the front
a.s.a.f.p. with little regard for others.
Having said that, I had a reasonable night. Race 2 I got caught up in the carnage & dragged my battered car to 13th.
Race 1 & 3 I avoided most (still had some damage) of the carnage to nab 6th & 5th respectively.
Another great turnout, however. Great to see people are enjoying racing these beasts. :drive:

*** I will be doing a slight update for EVERY (both tier 1 and tier 2) car. This should be ready this week.
Hopefully this will provide better & closer racing among the cars. This will be the last update from me
until after the end of the series, which should give Nib time to implement his own updates.***

+++AusCar, I'll try to get the updates to Nib so you can have them in time for your series on Friday.+++
Cheers

Awesome awesome night of racing. The mod in its self makes it the best mod out there and with such a huge turnout even better.

Quali to the night started of shakey but a nice drag down the straight behind shano got me pole but stuffed it up by over driving it in the shootout. But second to seca was a good start to a first place finish for race 1. Race 2 starting last avoiding the carnage I could work my way to the front again. Thanks to everyone for clean incident free racing and hope found my racing just as clean.

Race 3 got myself and Nib together which felt at the time as being pushed off track. I felt the first bump and thought I was clear of your car but the second one saw us going off track which disabled my engine. Watching the replay, well hind-site is a wonderful thing, I could see that it was a racing incident nothing more. Apologies for just bailing off comms.

The points are still close so back to the drawing board and start again. Obbzy great move to level the field as it will have more brands and models on track. At the moment it is probably true to real life but you want every car to be as competitive as the other. Looking forward to the new version.

So we have round 3 under our belt, might be a time to review the reverse grid... will have a discussion over it so check back for an update.

It was a hard, challenging track and I think that may be the reason there was carnage. I've watched the replays (briefly) and don't think anyone was out to take anyone out, just too much enthusiasm here and there, it comes from tight tracks.

Anyway the results are here Calder Park

Next round is at Morgan Park, if you've not see it there's plenty of footage on youtube.
Nibiru has done a great job to bring this track to RF2 and I'm sure you will find it not only visually stunning but a perfect match for the Class 2 cars.

had a pretty fun night last night, not the biggest fan of calder park and had no confidence trying to pull up for for turn 1 each time,
got caught up in other peoples crashes at the start of race one but still finished off pretty well, have to apologise to robzee, seca and
bert for my piss poor efforts coming out of turn 1 at the start of race 2, i put 1 wheel in the grass and span right in front of u , race 3
went much better, had a few good battles along the way and finished 4th,
see ya's all nexy week :drinks:

Last night was impressive driving from everyone and you guys did well to even out the field. My car was a diffent beast to drive mainly due to the changes happening halfway through a testing week, a new track and very little testing time to see what changes you guys have made.

Race 1 & 2 I had some terrible lag which nearly saw me crashing and taking someone out. Race 3 wow had an awesome 4way battle upfront which saw us swapping paint and panels lap after lap. Awesome driving from everyone.

I would have probably stolen cars - it would have given me the same adrenaline rush as racing.
