Yeah, much more enjoyable night's racing. The driving standard was extremely high, especially on such a tight circuit.
Had an up and down night though. Race #2 was destroyed by shocking lag. Apologies to Drummo who suffered from my lag issues.
Race #1 was excellent... had a good battle with Darrell for quite a number of laps. Ended up 11th from 16th.
Race #3 was interesting. Did not overtake one person but went from 15th to 6th as people kept having off-road excursions...

Based on last night, I think we're very close to having a great tier #2 mod. The cars are quite even... just a few small tweaks here and there
and all should be good. The last tier #2 round at Hidden Valley in a fortnight should provide the last pieces of info for the development to go to v1.0
(along with Nib's graphical etc updates). Hopefully the updates to the tier #1 cars have been as successful. Looking forward to this coming Monday at Oran Park.

Keep on truckin'... :drive:

Is it possible to see what changes you guys made so we can compensate for it? Last night I started loosing rear grip badly with the tyres showing full yellow so I will have to work on that part of it.

I would have probably stolen cars - it would have given me the same adrenaline rush as racing.

I hardly changed anything on the XA.
Off the top of my head I changed the brake torque and temps very slightly (minimal), and moved the rear aero in the physics very slightly towards the front and very slightly lower (which should make the rear more compact and thus more 'nimble', if anything?).
I didn't change the tyres at all on the tier 2 cars.
The lack of grip may be track based, rather than mod specific?
I changed the tyres on the tier 1 cars, which should make them have slightly (very slightly) more grip.
The HQ got slightly better top end torque and hopefully fixed the overheating issue (still need to fix the XA/XY overheating issue a bit more too).
Other cars had minor aero, brake changes, and slight power/torque changes to 'even' them up.
I've started noting what else needs to be done.
Based on what happens in the next few rounds (practice/race) should determine the changes.

Thx Obbzy.
Totally agree with you, like I said new track and very little testing time was probably the main cause.

Wow what a tuff trak Morgan Park is to race hard. Seca nailed it in the Charger with 3 wins, great driving mate.

So the Results for Round 4 Morgan Park are in.

The next Round brings back the big bangers @ Oran Park, cya there.

More awesome racing from everyone, what a race, it's certainly is a hard track in the big bangers.
Lots of battles throughout the 3 races made some good replay viewing :drinks:
So here's the results for Oran Park
The server is set for the next round at Hidden Valley in the class 2 cars. Make sure to get some practice.
Cya on track

Just like to thank the guys, Nib, SS, Rob and Obbzy, responsible for creating and running the legends mod. It has been a blast and hope that you guys are planning another season in the not to distant future.
I think that the different cars are near if not already perfect and very closely match with obvious strengths and weaknesses. Maybe with the next season we choose a car and stick with it thru out, which should level the field at different tracks.

I was hoping that this season will reward me with a first place championship trophy but just mist out because of a few dnf’s and network failures. Well done to Seca, SS, Merlin and Gussi and not to forget the rest of the field for ramping up the pressure right to the end. Hope to be racing you guys again.

I would have probably stolen cars - it would have given me the same adrenaline rush as racing.
