Hi,

Well where to start my name is Matt and I live in North Carolina in the United States. I have Sim Raced online since Nascar 3 in 1998 and was brought up on the Tradional USA Oval Racing, only i was alittle different than my American counterparts... I loved V8's which is not as big as you think here in the US. I find myself staying up late every weekend to see the V8's and pull for my favorite drivers.

Over my Sim Racing Career i have won 5 Championships, over 200 wins and countless other achevments, but as my love for V8's continues I find American Oval racing Bland and Boring. So after all my sucess in American Oval and Road Course racing i have decided that i need a new challenge and that would be Supercar Racing. So when i was looking for a Supercar league i found you guys and really enjoy talking and racing with you all and hope I have finally found a home.

Thanks so much and I look forward to meeting each and everyone of you all as the season starts!!!

P.S - And again thanks for opening your arms to all and each person, i have found so far everyone very very nice!

Talk Soon,
Matt Morgan

G'day mmorgan and welcome to xfactor,

Our V8 season is winding up for xmas with about 4 rounds left. We race the V8's on a Monday night for us, we call it V8 Mondays. We will be starting up a new season early in the new year. Sounds like you have a fair bit of experience in sim racing.

Look forward to seeing you out on the track

I would have probably stolen cars - it would have given me the same adrenaline rush as racing.

Glad you found us and to have you on board Matthew, it's also great to hear V8 Supercars starting to take off in the U.S., looking forward to Austin in the future! You should find xfactor a welcoming new home, and with the pace you were showing yesterday I know you will give everyone including the usual front-runners a good battle..

P.S. Does the future race at austin have a track there yet? or is it to be made? Would be interesting to try it out now if it's available.

"Race organizers for the forthcoming United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, have released a draft layout of the new circuit that will stage the event from 2012, when Formula One racing returns to the country for the first time in five years.

Working with renowned track architect Hermann Tilke, organizers Full Throttle Productions LP have drawn inspiration from the best circuits around the world, as well as taking advantage of the site’s natural topography to include some dramatic elevation changes.

Turns 3 through 6 look not dissimilar to Silverstone’s high-speed Maggotts/Becketts; Turns 12 through 15 give a nod to Hockenheim's stadium section; and Turns 16 through 18 will mirror the infamous, multi-apex Turn 8 at Istanbul Park.

“The area has natural elevation differences, which promises a fast track with difficult corners,” Hellmund told Formula1.com recently. “But the most essential thing is that has to be a masterpiece in its suitability for fans. Spectators have to be able to see large parts of the track from wherever they are.”

The 3.4 mile (5.47 kilometre) circuit features 20 turns and a total elevation change of 133 feet (40.5 metres), including a steep, uphill run into the hairpin Turn 1, which is expected to become the venue’s signature corner. In common with just three other current F1 venues - Istanbul Park, Abu Dhabi's Yas Marina Circuit and Interlagos in Brazil - it will run in an anticlockwise direction."
