Nibiru: What mods the FVR V8s or the Aussie Legends?
SmellySkidmark: hiya Nib, wb m8y
Nibiru: Oooo thanks SS
Bert: Hi SS, the test server last night only had the Hlden and Nissan. Is there a problem with the ford?
SmellySkidmark: Yes there's a problem putting them on the server because FVR have done it with 2 updates, however the server will only let you do 1 update to a file (rfcmp). So we're waiting for them to sort this out. How do you like the mod?
Bert: Haven't had much time to test them as my single player crashes. So last night was the first opportunity. Not sure what brand to go for this year either. Looking to do some testing tonight. Thx for putting up a server

HSV_PETE: I forgot to mention that the mod has the new ZB Holden as well.
Bert: Do you have a link @HSV_PETE

Hi all

Im Scott, I race rF1 and mainly over at JFF an ORA. I have been racing for quite a few years now and would say im a fair, clean mid pack racer. Like all of us, we want to get faster and better at racing and maybe snare that podium or fight out to the end for a championship. Well i do, as this is as close im going to get to racing motorcars as a profession ill get .

So im hear because i heard that there is some really good fair racing and championships to you guys run. hoping to maybe run a few Wednesday an Friday night sessions etc.

Well enough from me for now, looking forward to mixing it up with you guys on the black stuff.

Hi Scott,

Welcome M8. What you heard is true, great bunch of racers here.
Mondays are V8 nights, Wednesdays currently have a 're-jigged' ute mod series
and Fridays have mainly Enduros every 6 weeks or so.

Hope to see ya on track again soon.

I would have probably stolen cars - it would have given me the same adrenaline rush as racing.

Welcome Scott,
Yeah not a bad bunch of blokes here..excluding me of course..I kinda bring 'em down a bit.
Get about 15 guys on the Monday Nights here. You guys seem to be getting good numbers as well.
Thought about moseying on over for a race or 2 but enjoy myself here too much. the last time I came over I stuffed up my weeks and lost my 2nd position in the series :punish: .
On Monday nights we do 2 races 20 mins and 40 mins. 2nd race has weight penalties for the Top 10 100kg down to 10 and also reverse grid for the Top 10. Also usually have sprints 1st race and then a mix for the 2nd race which is always 2 pitstops so 1 in 3 opportunities to use the sprints makes for interesting strategies.
Understand JFF are doing the weight penalties too but they also carry over to the next race, thats interesting, is it working well?
I understand Obbzy is putting together a new Friday Night series :clapping: or maybe I'm just starting rumours :dance4:

Hey Schids.

YEah we are and so far feed back is good. guys are getting weight and loosing it to at each race etc. we have good numbers, rabnging between 15-20+ its run fortnighly rounds and are running round 4 with some sunset into night racing on the 17th. We are adjusting the fuel/tyres rates at different tracks to, so guys dont get ontop of things and run away with the series. makes the nights racing more intersting. We also have a few long hour an hour an half endurance rounds coming up too.

Here is a link if anyone is interested. Clash's with your monday night races though.

Every Mon Night racing here running 2 series....no breaks...bit of a shame as a lot of the guys here like Enduros. But then getting your head round a new mod just to run an Enduro..I dunno.
But every fortnight means that you could race here every 2nd week :gamer: :drinks:
Anyhoo we do a bit of praccy on Sun Night for the Mon night race so jump in for a bit of a squirt. You might find R1CHO on line most days/nights every waking/sleeping hour doing laps. He normally shares his setups and uses your setups against you and then gloats...good value! :P
