Had a go in these last night. I have to say they are pretty good for a pre-release.

I encourage everyone to get the mod & have a run in them.
Very nice. Thanks Fieldzy. :clapping: :good: :drinks:

Yeah I had a run with them offline just to work on setup, I've gotta say why are the shocks, in a variable lock with each other? they should be able to move up and down with out any impact on each other, ie slow bump & fast bump, I can not take slow bump "down" without fast bump mirroring the same number, I can not take fast bump "up" without slow bump mirroring.
I think on the real cars this does not happen, they can change anything anyway they want without both sides of the bumps glued together. This happens aswell with the FVR mod and it's not right.

Also noticed shift lights not working and grill tape can only go 10%. But the rest so far man is nice. Ambient sound excellent and the skins fantastic.

I would have probably stolen cars - it would have given me the same adrenaline rush as racing.

HI and thanks ss I have fixed the slow & fast bumps. They will be put in the update . Yes the shift lights are not working. The grill tape is set to ,as close as possible, to reflect the currant cars power increase. If I allow up to 100% blanking the power increase was over to top. So I compromised to get the engines to work fairly for all cars. Have a quick read of the read me files there are a couple of other things I am fixing. Just saves you notifying me of some of the things I am aware of.
But thanks that you guys are looking as this mod has been built by just 2 people me and a first time modder in the uk.

That sounds great, but just in case you didn't know the rebounds are the same and will need to be separated as well.
Any news of when the next release will be?

I gotta say these are great, very nice job Fieldzy, however I think that some other things need to be unlocked, firstly I'd say the "Brake Map" should be available, you see them change these "on the fly" all the time, and maybe the "Coast & Power", they would be a garage tune.
I think those small changes would without a doubt make these the best V8supercar mod.

Thanks guys for giving the mod a go. SS the real cars have a locked diff and no brake mapping sorry.
There will be templates up tonight at hardcore download look for rf2-v8-templates.
I'm doing up a package file as well. If you guys have trouble with it just uninstall all the previous mods and delete than add the package file ok.
Thanks once again
