SmellySkidmark: Yes there's a problem putting them on the server because FVR have done it with 2 updates, however the server will only let you do 1 update to a file (rfcmp). So we're waiting for them to sort this out. How do you like the mod?
Bert: Haven't had much time to test them as my single player crashes. So last night was the first opportunity. Not sure what brand to go for this year either. Looking to do some testing tonight. Thx for putting up a server

HSV_PETE: Just tried the new V2.5 V9Bcorsa mod......wow! What a great drive. They have fixed up a lot things such as the chronic understeer....a very immersive drive...plus they have alll the liveries from the 2016, 2017 and 2018 seasons....there are over 13 aussie tracks now available with a few more coming soon....beats the hell out of the FVR mod.....makes getting Assetto Corsa worthwhile!

To start with a HUGE thanks to Darren Blythe for giving permission to convert his track.

Also a BIG thanks to SS for doing the AIW and CAMs

Virginia International Raceway (commonly known as "VIR") is a road course located in Alton, Virginia. VIR hosts amateur and professional automobile and motorcycle events, driving schools, club days, and private test rentals. It is most famous for hosting the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship which takes place every August.

The track itself has been painstakingly modeled from scratch using several sources of technical data, countless photographs, hours of video footage and real world feedback from drivers and racers.

It contains seven layouts: Full, Full (with Oak tree), Grand West, North, South, Patriot & Patriot Reverse. All are fully functioning with AI. Each layout has it's own look and feel in accordance with real life. The 'Full' layout is 2016 race spec as you will see it in the Sportscar Championship/Oak Tree GP.


I started the conversion well over a year ago but got side tracked with the AL cars.
I have added all the rF2 features including the latest rain shaders to the road and kerbs. The tracks get more eye candy as you move closer to race. Also take the time to go exploring around the complex, the attenion to detail is fantastic.

I'm sure there are a few things I've missed so please report and bugs and issues you might find.

VR does not do your work any justice. In photos your work and attention to detail is amazing. :1st: :drinks:




I would have probably stolen cars - it would have given me the same adrenaline rush as racing.

Big thank you to all the werk you've put into this track Nib. I for one know how long it's taken to get it released, so congratulations.

@ Bert, you really need to get rid of that VR and get back to really good screen/s , well worth it for the picture quality.

@ SmellySkidmark, I am with you there mate, really questioning and weighing up the reasons for using VR :( :hi:

The game only allows 6 stat lights and I was using 7

No I didn't some also have wrong amount of cars.
Plus I can only get 30 cars at Full, oak, grand and north. They should be 32

I just loaded it up, 31 + me = 30 cars, strange but true.
Anywho I could still add 2 more AI no problemo . Add more again and it generates more spots, no crash.

Yeah that's what happens with me. Try loading 31 AI but only 30 cars including me turn up.
