Nib can you delete your first post , i got a broken zip twice AND i uploaded it before i knew it was buggered , 3 days of up and downloading , aaarrrgggggg

i use only 7 zip and got a broken dl so i got it from elsewhere

I use to scratch my head as to why so many downloads were corrupting on extraction but it usually came down to this:

If a archive is made with 7zip, it generally needs to be extracted again with 7zip (not winrar) or will corrupt
This is not the case though with WinRAR (can be extracted with other compression software)

yes nib i have read that post , its where i got the working dl from after i used the first link

The Knackko (mirror) download works fine. Both Tas & I used that mirror and no probs, though a little bit slow.

Some archives will always corrupt for some and not for others due to a strong compression method being used in the creation period and when the end user try's to extract the files (especially large size files) they can corrupt if the end user hasn't a powerful enough cpu & ram. Though it can be any number of other unforseen reasons also when dealing with compressed files.
